Covering the Plymouth Area

I am trying to turn a laptop into a chart plotter and need to experiment with the equipment I have got so far, ie:- Laptop, GPS device, Plotter Software.
The only thing missing so far is a digital chart. I’m pretty certain the software will read digital charts in virtually any format but am reluctant to spend lots of cash until I know it works, hence need to evaluate using borrowed charts etc.

I am quite happy to share my experience knowledge and findings with anybody else interested in going down the same route or indeed learn from anyone else who has done the same.
