Club re-opening

Published 12:54 on 28 Nov 2020

Hi

The current lockdown will end early on Wednesday so the Bar and Kilby's will re-open at 1200 Wednesday lunchtime under Covid Tier 1 rules. Normal pre-lockdown service and covid precautions still apply. Opening hours will be as before and closing times, including the Government's extended drinking up time, will at the discretion of Neville and staff.

Obviously some of our members live in a higher tier area and our current understanding is that you are asked to follow the government guidance for the tier you actually live in. This does not mean that our friends across the Tamar are not welcome - you very much are! So, if your tier allows travel then we hope to see you appropriately enjoying the club facilities again.

It is good to have seen dinghies out this week and Steve is looking at more sailing opportunities. On the social side Jenny is also looking at what we could do which fits in with the Covid rules.

Clearly there is a lot of politics going on in Westminster so this is based on the assumption that the tiers and guidance remains the same. We will be watching to see how this develops but in the meantime Neville, Dave and their staff are preparing for Wednesday.

Hope to see you soon

Bob Wilkey

Commodore
