    New Training Dinghies

    The new Hartley 15 club dinghies were delivered at the end of June. These were bought with the grant from Sport England and top-up from club funds, and were purchased under the banner of Adult Social Sailing following the ladies sailing initiative. Bob Holder and Steve Roberts were at the club to take delivery. It is not yet possible to put them to use while we are still subject to restrictions. However, we

Your committee have been working hard to prepare for getting us back out there as soon as we can, but always following the guidelines. We have been in discussion amongst club management with a view to taking this socially responsible step ourselves but Boris beat us to it!   • Launch of the Adult Sailing Project 2020

    The Sailing Sub-Committee is pleased to announce a new project for the 2020 season. Aimed to cater for any new adult sailors wishing to have a go, those adults who would maybe like to return to sailing after a few years away, and those who might have a little experience and would like to increase their confidence levels. The emphasis will be on social sailing and having fun regardless of age or ability.
