Email Update
The first club-wide e-mailing has gone pretty well - out of some 600 membership e-mail addresses 60 showed up as "blocked" and a further 70 "bounced". The main reasons include cases where members anti-virus settings have not recognised the club's email account, or email boxes have been over-full, so a bit a basic checking of their e-mail systems by members who have not received club mailings should help to clear those issues.

New Club Database
The new club database has been activated with effect from the beginning of October. Initial testing of e-mail communication has been carried out and the next stage is to plan a club-wide mailing before the AGM in November.
