Launch of the Adult Sailing Project 2020

The Sailing Sub-Committee is pleased to announce a new project for the 2020 season.

Aimed to cater for any new adult sailors wishing to have a go, those adults who would maybe like to return to sailing after a few years away, and those who might have a little experience and would like to increase their confidence levels. The emphasis will be on social sailing and having fun regardless of age or ability.

Some ladies took to the water last season with great success, and we now want to open social sailing to the club as a whole.

During the winter we have secured a Sport England grant to expand the club fleet and training specifically to meet the needs of new and returning adult sailors. The sub-committee is in the process of deciding on appropriate dinghies ready for launch in the Spring.

As subscriptions for the new-year are due, it is also the time for those New Year resolutions!
