Course cost is £175 including certification
No previous knowledge required. Provides the skills and background knowledge needed by the competent powerboat driver and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. You can use your PB2 as evidence of competence for your ICC application. The PB2 course aims to teach boat handling and seamanship in powerboats. It focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed, and collision regulations.
To secure your place please add your name to the sign-up poster on the training noticeboard in the Club. Also you will need to pay a £40 deposit over the bar by 14th April, please keep the till receipt. The course is at this discounted price for Club Members only, please ensure that your membership is paid up for 2026.
